Awesome diner in Seattle: Beths

If I'm up at 4:30am on a weekend, there's an excellent chance I woke up early to get some quality time at Beth's Cafe. Beth's is my favorite diner in Seattle, it's got awesome greasy spoon food, is open 24 hours a day, and has cool drawing all over the walls.

I don't just go there to eat, but I often go there to hang out with friends, or to get some creative thinking time.

Awesome Dessert In Seattle - Diablo @ Tango Tapas

I'm not a huge tapas fan, so I won't comment on the tapas - but the desert at Tango Tapas was heavenly  In particular the Diablo was an extraordinary silky chocolate dessert, ant the lemon tarts were wonderful as well.

The best ice cream in the world - Snoqualmie Ice Cream

I love ice cream, and my favorite brand is Snoqualmie.  To date I've only had two flavors, and frankly I'm afraid to try more as I'd be hooked and can't afford the calories. The two flavors I've had rank among my favorite ice creams :

1. Lemon Custard - Smooth and lemony, a unique treat I have when ever I have guests over! 
2. Mukkilteo Mud - The tastiest chocolate ice cream I've ever had, and I don't usually even like chocolate ice cream.

Update. I just tried Mountain Blackberry and it was mediocre, to be safe stick to the recommended flavors.

Shodai Teriyaki : Igor's Favorite Seattle Teriyaki

I love teriyaki. It's cheap, tasty, quick and awesome! In Seattle, I found a cheap teriyaki place that is heads and shoulders above the competition - it' scalled Shodai. and it's at MLK and Union.  Every thing is made fresh, and I've never been disappointed.

My favorites so far are Chicken and Gyoza and the beef short ribs (Kalbi).

The Best Dumpling House In Seattle: Fun Man's Dumplings

I love this place, cheap, tasty and friendly.   And you can strike up a conversation with the people at the next table.   When you go order the:

• Dumplings
• House Special Chow Mien
• Pancake (Green Onion or Leek) 

The pancake comes long after the meal, so make sure to save room for it.

Ps - this is 100% not compatible with health kicks.

My favorite Mustard- Bone Sucking Mustard

I'm a touch of a mustard snob and and Bone Sucking Mustard is my all around favorite. Intense; sweet and hot, a perfect match for any meat!

Instant Lattes - fast, cheap and easy.

I like espresso, Lattes and all them other fancy coffee drinks, but I'm far too cheap to spend 3-5 dollars for a fancy coffee, let alone deal with coffee shop that's full of yuppie cooties.  My fix is simple - instant espresso by Medaglia D'oro - just add boiling water and you've got a wonderful espresso, add some milk and you've got a latte.  Cheap, fast, easy who could ask for me.
